Anna Loos' concert programme Essenz is a powerful live performance of the highlights from her two albums Werkzeugkasten (2019) and Das Leben ist schön (2023). An evening that deep dives into the essence of her artistic expression and reflects her musical journey from self-discovery to celebrating life in all of his facets. With Werkzeugkasten, Anna Loos has created a collection of songs that speak of the strife and freedom of life, of the courage to find yourself, of the fears that are always with us and of the determination to always get up again. On Das Leben ist schön, she goes on a journey that is characterised by acceptance and savouring the moment. She celebrates life with all of its highs and lows, mistakes and everyday miracles. Together with her long-standing musical director, pianist and friend Conrad Oleak as well as the Kupferquartett Leipzig, Anna Loos has developed a concert event from these two albums that veers between pensiveness and hope, between moments of sadness and of euphoria. Songs such as Hier, Kaputt and Hunderttausend Farben reflect Anna's journey towards inner freedom – and in the course of this, invite the audience to explore and celebrate their own stories and emotions.
