Neuhardenberg Castle market
Following its great popularity last year, the castle, the local community and Airport Neuhardenberg are once again hosting a seasonal market on the village green and in the castle grounds on the first weekend of Advent. In keeping with a by now established tradition, Father Christmas will also land on the Neuhardenberg airfield. The market's festive pre-Christmas ambience provides the setting for an Advent programme that includes regional delicacies, artisan-made Christmas gifts and decorations, and live presentations. Mulled wine, Christmassy culinary treats, punch and fire pits create a cosy atmosphere.
Attend the concert It's still snowing on my Piano with Bugge Wesseltoft in the Schinkel Church on 28 November or the puppet and object theatre performance of Schlafe! Dornröschen im Bett zu spielen ('Sleep! Sleeping Beauty performed in bed') in the Great Hall on 29 November, or skate pirouettes on the ice rink. The complete castle market programme will be announced in the autumn.
