The programme will be developed in the
course of the Academy and will be announced
shortly before the concert.

For the fourth time already, the internationally renowned violinist Daniel Hope and the Schloss Neuhardenberg foundation will be inviting young musicians to the Hope Music Academy which, unusually, combines classic workshop exercises with personal development and music business management, stage presentation, programme design and profile presentation coaching offers.

The violinist Daniel Hope has performed solo on the stages of the world to great success for the past 30 years. He has won numerous prizes for his by now more than 25 recordings, including seven ECHO Classic awards. Daniel Hope is also a successful author. He has written four books; all of them made it onto the German best-seller lists. In October 2017, the film DANIEL HOPE – The Sound of Life, an arte / NDR co-production, was released in European cinemas. Daniel Hope plays an ex-Lipinski Guarneri del Gesù violin from 1742, kindly made available to him by its owners.

In the focused quiet of the Neuhardenberg Castle grounds, the young instrumentalists will not only attend coaching workshops but also develop a concert programme together with Daniel Hope and the cellist Daniel Geiss which will then be performed in the Schinkel Church at the end of the practical part of the course.
