The reprise of the concert evening developed within the scope of the Masterclass Student Masters programme at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival at Neuhardenberg has become a wonderful established tradition by now. In 2022, the clarinettist David Orlowsky will be rehearsing a concert programme with four young up-and-coming musicians which they will then jointly perform on stage at the end of the workshop period. Most of the Masterclass Student Masters participants are chosen from the winners of Germany's renowned classical music competition Jugend musiziert, which is one element of the Savings Bank Finance Group's extensive commitment to the promotion of talented young musicians and gives them the chance to work and perform with renowned classical music stars.

David Orlowsky, himself a winner of several Jugend musiziert prizes, was mentored at an early age by the grand seigneur of klezmer, Giora Feidmann. He is not only well-known for his solo and chamber music concerts on the stages of international concert halls; over twenty years ago, he has also lent his name to the David Orlowsky Trio, famous for its unique style mix of classical, klezmer and jazz.
