The benchmark of half a decade has been reached: This is the fifth edition of the Hope Music Academy with music workshops and career planning coaching offers that are designed to provide young musicians at the beginning of their professional lives with important inspiration that goes beyond the playing of instruments. Together with the violin virtuoso Daniel Hope, the Stiftung Schloss Neuhardenberg foundation organises this special form of talent promotion within the scope of the programme Masterclass Student Masters. Once again, the Neuhardenberg Castle grounds will serve as a refuge for the further development of young instrumentalists, who will prepare a concert programme together with their tutors which all of them then perform together in the Schinkel Church on the final day of the Academy.

Daniel Hope has been performing on the stages of the world as one of its most versatile international violin stars for the past thirty years. He is the Music Director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra as well as the New Century Chamber Orchestra, and records exclusively for Deutsche Grammophon, where he has produced numerous award-winning recordings. He also holds the position of Artistic Director at the Dresden Frauenkirche, and has been the Chairman of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn since 2020. He has worked with conductors such as Kurt Masur, Kent Nagano and Christian Thielemann, and has collaborated with artists such as Klaus Maria Brandauer or Sting on individual projects. He performs with the most renowned international orchestras, also works as a TV and radio presenter and has written four bestselling books.
