Old Agent Men 2 is the title of director Robert Thalheim's secret agent comedy sequel, which has been in the cinemas since January and was in part filmed in Brandenburg.

Once upon a time, they were the crème de la crème of secret agents; these 'peace-keeping spies' even saved Fidel Castro's life when he was on a state visit to the Baltic Sea. A group of East Germany's former top agents – the GDR's 'James Bond' Falk (Henry Hübchen), the tech wizard Tamara (Katharina Thalbach), the logistics expert Locke (Thomas Thieme) and the 'Romeo spy' Harry (Winfried Glatzeder) – inadvertently find themselves facing one more great new adventure in Cuba, of all places, where they have gathered for the funeral of their old mentor Fuchs and find their ideals challenged in order to prevent the last bastion of socialism from an imminent sell-out. In the course of this, they encounter Fuchs' daughter Helene (Corinna Harfouch) and Soler (Alberto Ruano). Time and again, the retired agents have to employ everything their spy bag of tricks has to offer and give it their all one more time. They have to deal with sleazy wheeler-dealers, treason at the highest level and, last but not least, their worst enemies ever: all-inclusive and Cuba libre.

After the screening, its director Robert Thalheim and the actor Winfried Glatzeder will discuss the film with the journalist Petra Gute.
