Executive bodies
The Foundation's work is accompanied by two advisory bodies: the Advisory Board and the Board of Trustees. Both are chaired by the President of the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV), Helmut Schleweis since 2017. While the Advisory Board is mainly made up of high-ranking representatives of the Sparkassen organisations, the Board of Trustees is mainly made up of personalities from culture and society who support the Foundation's work.
